MI Future Mobility Plan

Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced a statewide strategy to ensure Michigan remains the global leader in the future of mobility. The MI Future Mobility Plan maps out a comprehensive strategy that addresses future mobility challenges by growing the mobility workforce, providing more accessible transportation infrastructure, and developing innovative mobility policies.

Developed by OFME, the Council on Future Mobility and Electrification (CFME) and other State of Michigan partners, the plan is an actionable next step to address the opportunities and challenges that Michigan faces in remaining a leader in the mobility and electrification revolution.

ARPA Michigan Mobility Funding Platform Administrator (Sub-Recipient)

The Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME) seeks to provide an aggregate of $3.5 million in grant funds and administrative fees to one or more qualified grant administrator(s). These MMFP grants will be split between two unique pillars: test site grants and real-world deployment grants. Test site grants can be deployed to mobility projects partnering with one of nine pre-approved closed test sites in the state and real-world deployment grants are defined as being any project in a public space and partnering with municipalities and/or state agencies
