Driving Innovation at GVSC
The Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC), is the nation’s laboratory for advanced military automotive technology located at the Detroit Arsenal in Warren, MI. At the GVSC there are more than 1,000 researchers and engineers that develop and maintain vehicles for all U.S. Army Forces, many federal agencies and more than 60 foreign countries.

U.S. Coast Guard - District 9
The Ninth Coast Guard District is responsible for all Coast Guard operations throughout the five Great Lakes, the Saint Lawrence Seaway and parts of the surrounding states including 6,700 miles of shoreline and 1,500 miles of the international border with Canada. Services include search and rescue, maritime safety and security, environmental protection, maritime law enforcement, aids to navigation and icebreaking.
DMVA / National Guard
Under the auspices of the Michigan Department of Military & Veterans Affairs (DMVA), the Michigan National Guard provides trained, combat-capable forces in support of the National Security Strategy worldwide. It also provides defense support of civil authorities in response to federal emergencies within the United States and state emergencies within Michigan.
