This week’s small business established their foundation in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, setting an example that you don’t have to be a large business to compete with large businesses.
Making a name for themselves in the aerospace and defense industries, Green Forces is a technology consortium made up of eight companies. Green Forces was designed to give small companies the ammunition to go after large projects. From engineering and manufacturing to testing and verification, this company hasn’t been faced with a task they couldn’t solve.
Executive Director Rob Cooke says that Green Forces allows for the quick turnaround of a small business with the capacity and capability of a large business. This organization gives companies the opportunity to collaborate and develop within the same space.
Cooke encourages others to develop their business in Michigan. “The people here have a strong work ethic and commitment to integrity,” he says.
Watch to learn more about Green Forces and why you should start your small business in Michigan.
