Michigan is home to 6 dark sky parks and 4 internationally recognized dark sky areas. Three dark sky parks can be found in Michigan’s Northeast region. Negwegon State Park, Rockport Recreation Area, and Thompson’s Harbor State Park all offer unbelievable views of the stars and galaxy around us.

Copper rolling, drawing, extruding and alloying jobs are up 568% in the region since 2018.
This region is home to Camp Grayling, the largest National Guard training facility in the United States.
Home to 10 ports, including four deep water seaports accommodating domestic and international saltwater vessels.
Nearly 200 new jobs in professional services, training and development specialists have been added to the region since 2018.
