Germany, Austria, & Switzerland Tourism Marketing Representative

The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract with an in-country full-service travel marketing firm to represent Travel Michigan in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at both the consumer and travel industry level. The agency must possess extensive knowledge of the Michigan leisure travel market, and demonstrate native-country insights, knowledge, and expertise in promoting foreign travel product such as is available in Michigan and must have the appropriate travel industry and consumer contacts to efficiently promote the State of Michigan.

Growth Office - Brand Ambassadors

MEDC is seeking bids for the Brand Ambassador Program. This program aims to create a community of Michigan ambassadors sharing content on digital platforms that showcase Michigan as the best place to live, work, and play. The program should include strategy to amplify organic content with strategic paid opportunities, and leverage in-person experiences to develop the ambassador community.

Growth Office - Creative Class Activation

The purpose of this project is to convene members of the creative class & representatives of influential cultural institutions to design a strategy that attracts and retains talent by promoting Michigan's brand within the creative community or that otherwise supports positive net migration via creative class investment & programming. Early impact will be evaluated via a presentation of strategy and successful implementation of a scoped initial pilot.

Growth Office - Field Trips

MEDC is seeking bids for the field trips program. Compared to other universities near large metro areas, Michigan students have relatively low exposure to places that contribute to a positive perception of Michigan. To facilitate increased exposure, the field trips program will organize 3-5 strategic activations to identify target populations in Michigan that are underexposed to Michigan's cities and natural beauty, and plan an opportunity for them to experience those attractions. To encourage maximum visibility, the field trips will be filmed and distributed as digital content.

Growth Office - Roadshow

MEDC is seeking bids for the roadshow project. The roadshow project will create an interactive pop-up experience highlighting the state of Michigan and its iconic locations. The roadshow can tour a handful of strategic cities the team has identified as high in-migration or out-migration locales (e.g. Brooklyn, Atlanta, Traverse City). Further, the roadshow should drive PR opportunities and brand awareness.

Human Capital Management

The MEDC is seeking a vendor to review and recommend updates to the organization's current compensation philosophy and policies, while also performing a job analysis, skills assessment, job leveling and career pathways assessment. This should be done utilizing accepted practices in the management and design of a compensation system in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.

Michigan Innovate Capital Fund Program

The Michigan Innovate Capital Fund (MICF) Program will award incentives to multiple non-profit organizations that operate fund programs to invest in pre-seed and start-up stage competitive edge technologies that require capital in the earliest stages of the commercialization process.

Small Business Support Hubs Program Evaluation & Data Analysis

The Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or entities to support the MEDC's Small Business Support Hubs Program (SBSH), an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded initiative of the MSF.
