360 Evaluation Tool

The MEDC is seeking to acquire a 360º evaluation tool to guide executive leadership development. With this tool the MEDC is inquiring sufficient analytical capability or feedback components to support leadership development.

Community Talent Attraction/Relocation Support

To supplement the Make MI Home program, MEDC is looking for a vendor to assist with promotion and conversion of successfully attracting individuals/families to relocate/move to the State of Michigan. Additionally, looking to retain critical talent in the state.

Conference Planning and Logistics

Michigan Office of Future Mobility and Electrification (OFME) -- part of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) -- seeks to identify contracted event support for the Michigan Mobility Conference and Michigan Mobility Week (adjacent events).

Entrepreneur Support Grant

The Entrepreneur Support Grant (ESG) will deploy up to $2 million to support one or more small businesses that successfully deployed Inclusive Entrepreneurship Support grant funding in 2024 as a means of follow-on investment.

Michigan Innovate Capital Fund Program

The Michigan Innovate Capital Fund (MICF) Program will award incentives to multiple non-profit organizations that operate fund programs to invest in pre-seed and start-up stage competitive edge technologies that require capital in the earliest stages of the commercialization process.

Public Relations and Communications Support

Michigan Office of Future Mobility & Electrification (OFME) is seeking public relations and communications support to develop and implement a strategic communications plan including earned media for OFME, tell Michigan's story and promote Michigan as THE place to test and deploy innovative mobility technologies.

Space Innovation Hubs

The MEDC is requesting information from interested parties to help further shape the Space Innovation Hub(s). The purpose of this RFI is to gain a better understanding of the requirements of an innovation hub to include both physical and soft assets. The information obtained through this RFI may be used to prepare a Request for Proposals for the establishment of an Innovation Hub currently planned for development starting 2026.

Trusted Connector Grant

The application period for the $5.8 million Trusted Connector Grant opens February 28 and closes March 21. This funding opportunity supports small business development initiatives across the state, providing grants to organizations like Chambers of Commerce that offer technical assistance, networking, mentorship, and outreach. Priority will be given to applicants demonstrating strong past performance (within the last 24 months) and projecting future success (over the next 6-18 months) in key impact areas, including facilitating access to capital, connecting businesses to resources, increasing digital acumen, and conducting networking/mentorship initiatives. Applicants may submit proposals between $250,000 and $1,000,000. The MEDC anticipates awarding 5 to 20 grants. Details regarding key impact areas and metrics are available in the application.
